EMDR and Blind people

I just wondered if anyone knew of any research out there which talks about the use of EMDR with blind or partially sighted people. Obviously I am aware that there are other methods of bilateral stimulation as well but a colleague mentioned that eye movements may still be able to be used?

This was discussed when I last went on EMDR training. It was suggested to use other forms of bilateral stimulation, as you said. If they were partially sighted then you could possibly try the eye movements and see if it was effective? They didn't have any formal references on this though.
