Trauma Group

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a trauma psychoed group I am planning on running. I am looking for TV/movie clips that could be used in the sessions to explain different aspects of trauma e.g. fight/flight/freeze response, PTSD, the brains response to trauma etc, to try and make the sessions more visual and interactive.

The perks of being a wallflower shows how someone may experience flashbacks following a trauma. Probably a lot of war films would too but I don't tend to watch these :)

Would depend on the intended audience really. For most, its not really appropriate and the general media are not exactly known for their accurate portrayal of mental health illnesses. They often go for top of the spectrum or shocking. Dont really need to look any further than Split which comes out this year.

Nobody has mentioned fainting goats on the forum for a long time - I think they'd be a hilarious example of the freeze response
