Requesting Journal Articles

Post by miriam » Mon Nov 05, 2012 2:49 am

Please only request journal articles directly relevant to Clinical Psychology which you want for personal use. You will be banned if you join up to request articles that do not relate to clinical psychology.

Do not request more than five articles at once.We do not want to make this a means of circumventing copyright, or to get into trouble with publishers, so please prioritise the articles you need.

If you are asking for help from other members, be nice about it. Make it as easy as possible for others to find what you are asking for: Give the reference in APA format or with a link to a possible source. Do not request copies of books, as the online sources are not likely to be legal and we do not wish anyone to break the law. Please respect copyright, and do not distribute copyright works (including uploading them to your own webspace or a host for others to download or linking to 'pirate' sources of published content). Finally, if someone helps you, be polite and thank them!

Please use some common sense when deciding whether to provide an article for someone else. Do not do so if it is not related to clinical psychology, or if that is their only use of our forum, as this is simply taking advantage!

Updated and bumped to remind users not to make or respond to unreasonable requests, such as for non CP-related papers, or to provide papers for those who have not otherwise participated or contributed to the forum.
