Cardiff course structure

Hi,

I wondered if any current Cardiff trainees could tell me about the course structure i.e. how much time is spent in uni, on study days and on placement in each year?

Hi,

I'm not a Cardiff trainee but just in case no one else replies there's some useful information on this in the alternative handbook:

https://www.bps.org.uk/system/files/use ... 7%20v7.pdf

Hope this helps :)

Hi Psych1,

I'm a current Cardiff trainee. We tend to have 3/4 days of placement per week with 1 study day per week. Teaching tends to be fortnightly and on these weeks we have 3 days on placement. The study day tends to be negotiable depending on the needs of placement and whether we have teaching. We have teaching blocks at the beginning and end of each placement!

Hope that helps!
