NHS HCA Interview

Postby ImaginePsych » Sat Mar 26, 2011 1:25 pm

Hi all, I have recently been invited for an interview for a Healthcare Assistant position in a stroke rehab unit. I found the wiki with the "gigantic list of interview questions" very helpful but i was just wondering if they might test my knowledge of current issues within the NHS as i know very little? what sort of things do you think they may ask with regard to this?

Any advice would be much appreciated :)
Thanks,
Mark

I could be wrong but I very much doubt that they will ask about NHS issues for a HCA. I think the main things to consider is why you want this job? why stroke rehab? what qualities/experience you have to offer? and questions along the line of think of a time when you were challenged, etc. Hope it helps :D
