2012- no where near ready, maturally and knowledge/experience wise
Manchester
Liverpool
Sheffield
Leeds

2015 -still not ready really just started first AP
Manchester
Liverpool
Lancaster -after num & ver reasoning
Leeds

2016
Manchester
Liverpool

Leeds
Lancaster

2017
Manchester
Leeds
Lancaster
Liverpool

Proper gutted about Liverpool having been on the reserve list for a place last year. Pretty far down the reserve for interview list no49 so realistically that's a no, but I guess that's how the cookie crumbles. Congratulations to everyone with interviews this year, and commiserations to those without.

Hi Nicola,

Massive congrats on Manchester though! Fingers crossed for you. Do you know how long the Liverpool reserve list is?

Thanks!

Would anyone that got an interview for Birmingham mind telling me what they said the interview would include? I'm 2nd on the reserve list so thought I'd better get preparing just incase! X

Hi yorkshirepsych, thank you for the congratulations! I have absolutely no idea how long the reserve list is for Liverpool but I think they interview 70-80 candidates a year, well it was around that last year anyway I'm not sure I'm anything has changed? Did you have any luck with your applications?

Take care

Really surprised and shocked! I'm a first time applicant and a mental health nurse... just hoping I can manage my anxiety through the interviews.

Wow well done - 4 greens. I applied to all the same courses as u, managed to get 1 interview with Birmingham

My outcomes for this year:

Oxford
South Wales
Bath
Coventry and Warwick

Pleased to have interviews but anxious also.
Congrats to all those with greens and commiserations to those with reds. It is a rough process an is often disappointing and frustrating, but a wise person once told me that it's all "grist for the mill".

Birgimham
Leeds
Trent
Sheffield

I am not surprised, a wasn't expecting to be shortlisted. I sat the Bham test which was unexpected, but I would be lying if i say I'm not a little gutted.

I have to be realistic, I'm 24, graduated in 2014 and have only worked as a paid AP (paid for 1 year 2 months).
I will be in a better situation, next year. I am building my therapeutic experience at my current AP post and engaging in research with my employers funded by the Department of Heath (something i started after i applied). I'm hoping for a publication to with my university tutor as well, just taking a while
So I'm hoping 2018 will be a better year!

Well done to everyone who is waiting for a interview!

Any tips for next year!? :)

Updated a little late due to being abroad last week.

IoPPN
RHUL
UCL
UEA

I don't think anything will come of UEA, but I am on the last minute call list just in case. Delighted to be finally given a chance though at RHUL, this is my 3rd application (the 1st year was a practice run), and this is the first time I've had anything but straight rejections.

Leeds
Manchester

Sheffield - 15/25
Liverpool - 16

The Liverpool administrator emailed me back and said that although she cannot predict movement on the list, in the previous 2 years number 16 has been offered an interview. Not sure if this info helps anyone else!

Proud and amazed to announce that I'm 1/1 for my interviews:
Lancaster

I'm doing my MSc straight from my undergrad and don't really have much clinical experience, so I think the shortlisting test really worked in my favour!

First time applying and I'm a little bit nervous for the interview day - can anyone recommend any advice?
