Plymouth 2017

Post by hannah0120 » Fri Apr 21, 2017 12:21 pm

Just found out I have been offered a place at Plymouth

I still have an interview at Cardiff but I loved the Plymouth course so am strongly considering accepting this offer.

Has anyone else accepted a place?

I was at the Thursday interview day and met so many lovely people there. I'd love to hear if anyone else got offered a place

Hi hannah!

I think I was sat with you before you went in to your second interview yesterday? I was the one in the green suit! I've been offered a place at Plymouth too! :)

Oh really? I'm struggling to remember a green suit! I'm sure I would remember that too. I have red hair if that helps and was wearing a stripy shirt. Either way, congratulations! Are you planning to accept your place?

Oh different hannah from who I was sat with then!! I think so. Plymouth has always been my top choice. I've been offered Cornwall which is the furthest point away though and so just trying to decide if that's definitely something I'll be able to do!

I've gone ahead and accepted my place at Plymouth! I'd be really keen to a) meet other people who will also be starting, and b) speak with anyone who knows the Plymouth area. I will be relocating and am starting to think about flats etc.

Congratulations on accepting your place! I've also accepted mine now and am very excited! Looks like it's just the two of us though

I'm in a similar position as I will also be relocating so any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. It would be lovely to meet up with a few people before starting. Hoping for some more information soon :)

Hi both!

I'm not joining you at Plymouth but do live here, so very happy to give advice on renting etc :) Plymouth has some very nice and also not nice areas (like anywhere) but it's quite variable, so I'd suggest looking around at potentials and I'm happy to advise as to whether to avoid or not!

Feel free to pm me anytime :)

So over the moon to say I will be joining you in September. I will be based in Plymouth and I was first reserve (hence why its taken me so long to write on here). Very excited to get started and to meet everyone!!! I've found a facebook page with one member on it? Just wondering if anyone else had found a different group
