Please can we have a wiki about indirect work/consultancy. Apologies if this exists already, as I may not have found it yet.
Thanks,
A

Great idea! I can try to make a topic starter, but it would be great if others could also add to it.

Hi

I was thinking we ought to have a section on Clinical Psychology and Learning Disabilities? Its a huge area that often has assistants, and of course, all trainees are more than likely to have a placement in this area..

We could exchange theories/ideas/resources, etc.?

What does everyone think?

I think that we could have discussions on the Clinical Issues section of the board for each of the specialties if people whant to start them and would find them helpful. If there is a lot of activity we could review the situation. However, if there is a good topic and discussion around a particular speciality, LD being one of them we could make a wiki from that (well when one of us gets chance Confused )

Perhaps you could start a topic around your interests?

Sounds great to me. Sorry to seem ignorant but I'm still really unsure how to open a new "section" where we could discuss the topic of Clinical Psychology and Learning Disabilities?

I think what Dorothy is saying is that you are suggesting a forum discussion, that can then be compiled into a wiki topic later.

If you have content that you want to make into a wiki starter then you are welcome to start a thread in here and I will move it to the right place. However a wiki is a single post that summarises a topic area, rather than a discussion that invites participation, so if that is what you want you should post a thread in the discussion forum.

Does that make sense?

That is what I meant yes!

So blueray...I'm not sure where you want to start, but on the main section of the forum, there is a Clinical Issues area, where you can make a new topic.

I am embarking on my LD placement, so I am all ears, well eyes!

Was an LD and clinical psychology wiki produced in the end? I'm currently doing a small scale research project looking at mental health and LD and could add some info. about this based on my reading.

Also, would it be useful to have a guide to Scottish equivalents of key English/UK policy documents/initiatives? I would have found this helpful when I moved up to Scotland and would be happy to start putting something together that others could add to.

No we haven't got much on LD at all, it would be really great if you could contribute. Many thanks.

Both of these sound like fab ideas. Did you ever make a start on either of them h2eau?

Alas, these were on my ever growing to do list but I'm keen to make a start on these that others could add to.

Should I start threads in the forum section on these two topics or...?

Is it possible to have a topic regarding interview questions?
Everybody who has had an interview can post the questions they were asked. This will help others prepare for their interview.

Would this be cheeky or cheating?
