Hello

Does anyone have any books/papers that they could personally recommend to me on group dynamics? Apart from in the clinical sense, I also mean in relation to teams/groups of people that have to work together.

Thanks

Hi Elsie,

A few ideas...I haven't read all of these, but have the recommendations on good authority!

Belbin, R.M. (1993). Team roles at work (there's a newer edition I believe, same title).
mod: clicky goes to newer edition, old one not in stock!
Bion, W.R. (1955) Group dynamics: a review. In S. Scheidlinger (ed). Psychoanalytic group dynamics. Basic Readings. New York: Basic Books

Bion, W.R. (1959) Experiences in groups. London: Tavistock

Johnson, D.W. & Johnson, F.P. (2000). Joining together. Group theory and group skills 7th Ed. Needham Heights, MA: Allyn & Bacon

West, M.A. et al. (eds.) (2003). International handbook of organizational teamwork and cooperative working. London: Wiley

Hope that helps.
