I am looking for a good book or two on formulation in clinical psychology - something really practical and easy to access that can be used alongside work with clients.

Hey For our course the NHS trust employing us did further checks to cover the past 3 years so we had to provide dates / employer details / referee names for every position held within that period. They do quite extensive checks in terms of right to work in UK, DBS etc...but nothing you wouldn't expe...

Yeh I would never do a PhD solely as a way of getting onto the DClinPsy. Thanks for your opinion, I am inclined to agree. I think I might apply anyway (deadline for scholarship is May 1st which I would need if I did do it) and have it as a back up plan if I literally can't find any relevant work.
