UCL

(I wish I applied to UCL but, I don't think I would have made it through the first selection screening process- given the competition, strict entry criteria and number of people applying to UCL Twisted Evil ) What are these strict criteria? I've had rejections from Oxford and Cov/War and not at all...

I've just phoned a few uni's because I couldn't wait!! Coventry and warwick and UCL have sent letters today, royal holloway will not be sending till the deadline. I also got a rejection from Oxfordn- I hear that selection criteria and applicant profiles were extreme .. MSc's, PhD's, publications and...

I've just put a message for this thread on the site but put in under 'dates and things' by mistake - but people may be interested to know that ucl and coventry/warwick have posted letters today!!
Royal holloway said they're only half way through and will send theirs at the deadline. :roll:

Hi Miriam I did fill in the equal ops form showing I have a disability but maybe the min. criteria are job related too (?) and I must not have met them - i didn't realize that as a disabled person I have to be interviewed under those criteria! Thanks for the supportive comments! My first degree was at Leicester! Unfortunately I have 3 children studying for gcse's and A levels in oxford and my hubby has a good job here too - i'm kind of limited by my situation in the courses which I can apply to (ucl and oxford) and my eyesight isn't good ...

Thanks psychlad - good luck to all for oxford (and other courses) - after a rejection from UCL I'm sure it'll be the big R for me but hoping next year I might be lucky!
