So gutted, I literally moved back to the UK (having lived here for a while, but moving back home to go to uni where it is affordable) 8 weeks ago (!!) to embark on my career here, a very conscious choice and now all this.. Re: IAPT London applications

Which borough did you apply for? I know that UCL does the ‘long-listing’ and then sends it over to the services. I know that for my service they wanted to have the shortlist on Tuesday.. But obviously I can’t say if this is the same for every borough

Re: IAPT London applications

I looked on the website after I was offered the interview yesterday and that part hadn't changed.. I am not sure if it has now, (don't know my login details so can only check on my laptop!), but maybe it's not something to look at too much and just wait for the email?

PWP references

Hi, It’s a long shot but PWP admissions hasn’t replied yet and I kind of need to know! Does anyone know till when referees can upload their references? I have a really good referee but she’s immensely busy right now and asked me if it’s okay if she sends it off next weekend, but the deadline for app...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

1. I got offered a job (yay!) on Thursday, and I am waiting for HR (NHS) to get back to me, why does it take so longgg? I want to get started, sort my referees out and the DBS and dive straight into work! 2. BPS posted today that it’s mental health awareness week and how good relationships are funda...

Role of Psychological Assessment?

Hi everyone, I am currently working as an AP in a large adult outpatient service in Holland, but I am relocating to London for personal reasons in a few months and looking to pursue a career in clinical psychology over there. I was wondering what role psychological assessment (if I'm using the right...

Re: Msc outside of the UK? Work experience?

Hi! I am actually in a very similar position and have the same questions. Only difference is that I am from Holland and lived in England for a while before moving back to study I am now in my final stages of my bachelors degree (will hopefully graduate with an equivalent of a 1st) and also have some...

Re: Hello: Introduce yourself here!

Hi!! I thought I’d introduce myself as well. I found this website a couple of months ago while trying to figure out how the (clinical) psychology system works in the UK. I’m Anne and I’m currently a 3rd year psychology bachelor student in The Netherlands! I moved to London age 18 after ‘A-levels’, w...
