Re: Face to face interview amidst pandemic!!

Hey, I thought I'd give an update as to what's happened..... Well I spoke to a lot of different people who were equally horrified and concerned, so I finally plucked up the courage last night and emailed asking for a video interview instead, I kept it nice and simple, not mentioning the global pande...

Re: Face to face interview amidst pandemic!!

Thank you, it's for Birmingham Healthy Minds. I too am working from home at the moment and the guidelines are very clear and I did feel alarmed that they are still willing to conduct this face to face. I'd be going by taxi, but like you said about a warning, I don't want that. When I raised it to re...

Face to face interview amidst pandemic!!

Hi all,. I've been fortunate enough to be selected for a trainee pwp interview in a couple of weeks time. Understandably I'm over the moon and busy preparing, however the interview is face to face! I've emailed the contact asking if this was a mistake and surely this could be conducted over Zoom or ...

How long does it take to hear back?

So after many years, I've finally plucked up the courage to apply for a trainee Pwp role in West Midlands via NHS jobs... How long does it usually take to hear if you've been successful or not?
I'm assuming that COVID-19 is probably slowing things down too which is understandable.

TIA

Re: Trainee PWP interview - Kaleidoscope Plus Group

Whilst I cannot offer advice as to what to prepare, I currently work for Kaleidoscope and it's a fantastic organisation to work for. Best of luck when is your interview?

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

1. I had my interview for the Doctorate course on Friday and my friends and partner were not interested.. It hurts that they're not supportive and uninterested. 2. I'm hoping to find out tomorrow and if I do, it's going to hurt that my work colleagues will be more supportive (if I'm successful or un...

Re: Success for Doctorate in Counselling Psychology

Good luck bhawbhaw on your upcoming interview! 😊 I've been given some information from the university I have applied to, but I would like to talk to others who are going through the process. I would recommend looking at your past research, looking at your clinical experience and think about why that...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

1. Applying for the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology is a lonely and tiresome process. 2. I now have to spend my lovely Easter break stuck to my daughter as she injured herself on a trampoline, and is now stuck in a boot for a while.πŸ™„πŸ™„ 3. Sleep! I need a good night sleep, otherwise I get the wors...

Success for Doctorate in Counselling Psychology

Hello 😊 I've been offered an interview at Wolverhampton University next month for the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and was hoping to find others who are either on the course, applying, or who have completed the course. I feel like it's looking for a needle in a haystack when trying to find ot...
