Re: Low/Mid/High 2:1

I had some issues with Bangor on this front last year. They ask for 64%+ degree score as minimum criteria however they use their own formulation to calculate this. I officially got 64.5% on my degree transcript but got rejected by Bangor as by their calculation I was under 64. This is not at all cle...

Re: Plans for the year ahead

So many exciting things happening! I didn't get the job but the interview went really well which was good as it was my first interview where I didn't know the panel! They have offered me an honorary post one day a week so I'm happy! The interview also showed me I had good experience and that I shou...

Re: Do you even lift?

Thanks for the advice :) I think you're right that I should start with some PT sessions. At the time I thought they seemed expensive but I think to develop a proper routine and form it'll be worth it in the long run. I'm definitely inspired to do this once I'm well enough :) Brilliant! I hope you g...

Re: Do you even lift?

I'd completely recommend getting at least one session with someone who really knows about form to set you on the right path, and then a review session 6-8 weeks later. You probably won't need more than that, but it ensures that your form is perfect so that you are doing maximum good with minimum ri...

Re: Do you even lift?

Thats a really good sounding routine Miriam! And you've got some really nice current weights and PBs too. I can see what you mean with the stiff leg deadlifts and good mornings re my weak lower back. Physio and my PT are ok with me doing them on moderate weights, as long as my form is spot on. Physi...

Do you even lift?

Miriam and I had a small conversation in another thread about weightlifting, and its a topic I would like a thread about. So who on clinpsy lifts? what goals do you have? what are your personal bests? I started with a personal trainer around 7 weeks ago. I picked him because he coaches weightlifting...
