Re: Is autism undiagnosed in girls?

This is reminding me of a lecture I attended during my undergrad by Simon Baron-Cohen, which argued that autism is an extreme version of the 'male brain'. May account for the difference between sex/gender... or could influence how it's perceived/diagnosed?

Re: RHUL 2015

I'm afraid not Rebecca. I will probably recognise you when I see you again. I wore a beige-ish coloured dress with a check pattern and black jacket. I'm short, with long blonde hair.

Re: Reserve list for places

There is only 1 place left at IoP, not looking great for reserve-listers there!

Re: Technology/Apps etc whilst training

Bumping for 2015 trainees...

Need to buy myself a laptop before Sept. Is it necessary/advisable to buy a small/portable one to make notes on during lectures? Or would I only really use it at home? I'm likely to be at Holloway (possibly IoP) if computer use varies between courses!? Thanks!

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2015

So this happened...

ROYAL HOLLOWAY!
IoP
Salomon's

UCL

Totally shocked, I thought the interview went terribly compared to my other ones...

Will stay on the reserve lists for now to see if there's movement.. but looks like I'll probably be at Holloway.

Eep!

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2015

UCL (didn't turn into interview)
Salomon's--> Salomon's
IoP
Royal Holloway

Gutted about Salomon's as I'm definitely too low down for a place and it was my preferred course, but I got good feedback so there's still hope for this year...!

Last year Royal Holloway sent an email on the Wednesday before the deadline. Although in this process, who knows when we'll hear!!
