Don't apply to the PSI! It's not necessary, honestly. If you have GBC in the UK, you're fine!

You're grand to apply to Ireland - the psychological society of Ireland (PSI) has reciprocal agreements with the BPS for undergraduate courses. Good luck!Psyfer wrote:I have asked them, hopefully they will respond soon.

Hi, I applied to Bath a couple years ago, and the fact I didn't have A-levels (I did secondary school outside of UK) meant I got penalised in the points system (despite a 1st and master's, and a couple years experience). My work: I work with young people who get scared when eating. They worry about food and how their bodies look. They also feel sad and scared a lot. Their bodies become too small and don't work well. It can cause death. Often, they stop seeing their friends because they are so sad and tired and sick....

I've noticed that my biggest weakness is providing support to patients I've only just met. I can get very awkward and tongue-tied, and it can take a week or two for me to build a warm genuine rapport with someone. This isn't ideal when said patient is only going to be with us for a week! I realise ...
