Re: 'considered for interview shortlisting 2018'

Hi,

Just curious... Has anyone heard from Leicester?
First time I've applied there and I haven't heard anything.

I've also applied Trent, Leeds and Sheffield. If anyone had heard from them either please let me know :) .

Not holding my breath, but gotta try!

Thanks,

Amy.

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2017 entry DClinPsy

Birgimham Leeds Trent Sheffield I am not surprised, a wasn't expecting to be shortlisted. I sat the Bham test which was unexpected, but I would be lying if i say I'm not a little gutted. I have to be realistic, I'm 24, graduated in 2014 and have only worked as a paid AP (paid for 1 year 2 months). ...

Re: Birmingham Written Test

Received the details today! Woohoo!
Pooping myself though, this is my first year applying.
I know everyone get an interview who meets the criteria, but still it's terrifying.
Going to look on their website for past papers and guidance.
Any advice? :)

Re: ASD observations

I won’t be doing the ADOS, you are right it does require a specific training course. I'll be sitting in and assisting the CP, taking notes on how they are in the test, behavioural obs, things they say, just to help the CP. The only psychometrics I’ll be doing is the WISC-IV, RCADS and scoring the CO...

How important is a patients view in an interview?

I wasn't even going to apply, I'd had lots of rejections form applications but thought what the hey! My interview went actually well, it was so different to any I...
