Hello AnalyseThis, Thanks for your response :) Within NHS applications I am explaining my reasons and showing that I have reflected on the experience of changing career..not sure whether this helps or not! I might try contacting potential employers though...something I hadnt thought about previously...

I used to facilitate the sex offender treatment programmes, so if you have any other queries or questions about working with men who have committed sexual offences then feel free to PM me.

I agree with kms87 and lakeland...prison is definitely one of the safest places to work! I spent around six years working in male prisons and I too had similar experiences to kms87 and lakeland.
