What happens post offer?
Hi everyone, what happens after you get an offer for a place on a doctoral course? - are there more checks; do you then have to get a reference from your first honorary post x years ago? Do they count/prove NHS years of service? anything else to submit? I'm asking as I had worked in another industry...

Re: Application “honesty”

Application “honesty”
Hello, this post may be out of frustration but I would like opinion and advice. I know someone who has basically got someone else to modify very heavily their application, personal statement and other areas. It bothers me as essentially it feels as if they have not done it themselves and have benefi...

Counselling Psychology Trainee Placements
Hello, hoping this post fits in this section of the forum. I wanted to know what the process was for organising placements on the CoP doctorate was. PWP trainee role, no experience just studying
Hello all, does a PWP trainee role take on people with no experience? I am changing careers, and am on a psychology conversion course, with no real support work or counselling work as of yet. The only thing I can really shout about is that I think I have a pretty good understanding of what the role ...

Re: new UCL LONDON PWP Trainee roles & AP roles
I know we do too enid! Its the uni's decision I think, not really sure. Services are annoyed about it as we feel we get a better range of candidates with more clinical exp comming through NHS jobs. However we had some great candidates last year through this process, a mix in terms of age, past exp....

MSc Conversion PCT 2014 Start!
Hi everyone, I am due to start my psych conversion course (full time) next month at Surrey Uni. It is the first time they are offering the course, but the university and lecturers seem very experienced and seem very helpful to any questions I may have. I wanted to know what experiences anyone has ha...
