Re: Ucl PWP 2019

Every NHS job I've ever had took a few weeks to process. Plus some services are still interviewing next week I imagine once that's all done and they've selected the candidates UCL will update the portal. Congrats all and good luck to those interviewing next week.

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

Can see a lot of anxieties from those who have been offered a place. Don't worry, they won't change their minds and nothing is wrong. I had to wait 2-3 weeks before I heard anything. It takes time.

Also, anyone interview at Bromley today or have one on Monday? We're taking on 5 trainees this year.

Anyone interviewing for Bromley next week? If so I wish you the best of luck and look forward to meeting you when you start.

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

I'm really sorry to hear about this horrendous journey Jason. If it's any consolation, your ability to endure such a gruelling and testing experience demonstrates an awful lot about your emotional resilience and ability to bounce back from adverse experiences. Keep going; the fact that you were inv...

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

Hi Siogamue and PinkFreud19. Sorry for the late reply. I had to take a few days to reflect on this. While I am disappointed I am still proud to have gotten as far as I did considering the number of people who applied to Edinburgh. I feel I can do this and the rejection isn't so much the issue as is ...

I’m hoping different services send out invites on different days! That or I’ve definitely been unsuccessful this year! Fingers crossed!
Different services do email on different days. I recall my friend was invited for Camden two days before I was invited for Bromley. Best of luck!

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

Congratulations all, which services are you all interviewing with? If anyone has an interview with Bromley and would like to ask anything about the service then feel free to contact me.

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

Oh Jason, I'm so sorry, that is so disappointing. I have been following your progress and was rooting for you. I agree that is a very long drawn out process, to ask you back for another last minute interview and then to not give a definitive answer. It is tortuous to keep anyone hanging on for so l...

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

So they finally contacted me. They want to keep me on reserve. So looks like it's finally over for me. Will not apply to Edinburgh again. The whole process was awful from the interview style to all of this. It's not the uni for me.

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

Thanks Siogamue and Miriam! For the most part I've been able to distract myself but every now and then I get some anxious meta cognitions. Like just an hour ago I thought to myself what if I didn't get it and they just haven't told me. All I can do is wait but this has been a real test of mental gym...

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

Thanks Miriam! I have no idea about NHS Borders. Just that I was interviewing for both. They initially said they'd let me know on the day then they said today but soon after I received an email. Apparently because some people couldn't make it for the interview yesterday they're interviewing them nex...

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

Haha you're right! It's such an obvious defence mechanism. I finished an hour ago. Was nice. Won't go into detail of the questions as that's against the rules but they were a lot friendlier and it was less formal. Was also told that there was a last minute space for NHS Borders so will be considered...

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

Thanks! That helps to settle my nerves a bit. Worse comes to worse this will be more practice for next year. Tayside was my first choice so this was pretty lucky as well!

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

Hi Siogamue Thanks for the input. Yes I imagine so as well. I don't know where I was on the reserve list so this could work in my favour. Unfortunately I didn't get any feedback either though have reflected on it since. I'm hoping the silence from others is a good sign too. The only thing I know is ...

Re: DCLIN 2019 Newcastle - reference

I didn't get Newcastle but there was no mention of the reference at the interview. So at the least if anyone has trouble they should be able to attend the interview no problem.
