Re: Balancing paid work with doctoral work on a health docto

I also worked one day a w...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .
1. Really excited about my two new trainee health psychology placements. Both involve almost all direct client work within two different NHS services (chronic pain and neuropsychology), alongside clinical/counselling psychologists. Lots of new exciting challenges and slight departure from my researc...

Re: Reflections on 4th application and not on training
Have people had feedback on interviews yet? And if so, has it been helpful? My Lancaster feedback was "Ok" but was quite generic (after comparing it to others who had feedback from Lancaster). I am due to hear in June/July about Liverpool and Glasgow. I hope all are well! 'Ski Hey Ski, Sa...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

There's definite scope for an extended trip especially if I'm able to find academic/psychology jobs out there. There's a st...

1. Lingua_Franca, your post made me feel really sad and reminded me of similar circumstances in my own personal life. I know it's probably rather limited in the grander scheme of things, but sending you lots of virtual heartfelt hugs. I'm certainly no stranger to heartbreak and reaching out to you t...
