Bank work on application form

Hello, Does anyone have any advice on how to put bank work down on the application form? I know it states to put average hours if you didn’t work set hours. However when I banked as a support worker throughout my degree, there were some months when I might only work one shift, and other months when ...

Advice about masters and my experience?

Hi all, I'm sure a lot of people have asked similar things on here but I haven't really been able to find anything that completely answers my question so I was hoping for some advice... I am keen to know whether it is worth my while doing a masters degree to try to strengthen my application for the ...

Self-disclosure during interviews?

What are people's thoughts on self-disclosure of personal troubles with e.g anxiety, depression etc during an interview?
I saw on a person spec once something along the lines of 'lived experience of mental health difficulties/ services". I'm just wondering whether this would be appropriate or not.

BPS membership

Do you need to be a graduate member of the BPS (I.e. pay the fee) to be able to work as an AP if the person spec asks for "entitlement to graduate membership of the BPS"? I'm assuming this just means that my degree is BPS accredited but I'm now worrying that this means that I need to be a member! Th...

NHS Jobs Application

Thanks both. I've obviously listed my degree and where it was obtained under the qualifications section, so I assume they would know that I have GBC by looking at my university.

NHS Jobs Application: professional registrations

Hi everyone, I'm currently applying for an assistant post on NHS jobs. It asks, under the membership of professional bodies section, to indicate my professional registration status. It then asks you to select from a dropdown list items such as 'I do not have the relevant UK professional registration...

Clinical in educational setting

Hi all, Bit of a strange question and not sure if it's in the right section. I'm keen to pursue the clinical doctorate and really enjoy working in mental health. I have a keen interest in working with children/ young people, and whilst I know I can do this within CAMHS, I was wondering whether there...

auditing relevant alongside AP post?

Hi everyone, I am due to finish my BSc Psychology degree this summer, and hopefully have an AP role lined up. I have been informed that this role will almost certainly be part time, and I wondered whether working in the audit team for the same NHS trust would be a good idea alongside the AP role. I ...
