Re: Shocking true confessions - My Selection Hell

I don't think it is either a 2 hour job or five minutes, there is a lot of scope to be somewhere in between. Someone mentioned earlier in the thread that they have a word document with sections for each major speciality they are applying for, and most of the common person specification items, and t...

Re: Shocking true confessions - My Selection Hell

I do really feel for you guys going through these applications but one thing to remember is that often with these applications there are such time pressures to get the application done - most vacancies I have seen in my area recently are up for less than a day, by the time I even get home from work...

Re: Pre-interview tests UEL/Salomons

Hi SamH UEL wrote on that blurb on the coloured sheet they gave us on the day of the test that they would email ON March 16th (not by), so I think they are waiting until the last day. If it comes in sooner: happy days, but no need to hit the refresh button where they're concerned as they haven't gi...

Re: Assessments & Disabilities

Thanks Rob. Yes I've always found Lancaster information to be very straight forward. Unfortunately UEL have made no mention of it. I'll drop them an email and see what the next steps are. Thanks.

Assessments & Disabilities

Hi all just looking for some advice around the assessments and declaring a disability. I have dyslexia & dyscalculia (only diagnosed last year so all new to me), I noted it on all relevant sections of the Clearing House, but I'm wondering do I need to say it again to the courses? As I've received an...

Stage 2 Health Psychology- BPS

I have a couple of questions about Health Psychology Stage 2 Independent route, if anyone here has done this? I had been hoping to do mine via the university route but London Met are not running Stage 2 this year :( And City Uni are looking for a 2.1 (blasted 2.2 undergrad is going to haunt me forev...

So that's me out. A real disappointment for me not having a shot at Lancaster. I really clicked with their ethos and way of working. But at least I didn't let fear stop me from trying, I gave it my best.

Best of luck to all those going through to the interviews :)

Seen as I done the same test for Cardiff and Lancaster, likely that puts me out of the running there also! Ah well. Best of luck to everyone who has an interview so far :)
