Re: IAPT London applications

Yes, my wife kept trying to tell me that, but I was telling her to stop so that I could focus on making the next application stronger. Better get preparing now! Mine is for Waltham Forest, so unsure if they were just slow or we were just on a reserve list. Either way I'm pleased, and mine is next We...

Re: IAPT London applications

Well done on getting the interview. I would imagine if it was not to be a straight q&a, you would be informed prior to interview. I have a vague recollection of someone mentioning a roleplay, but I would wonder about timings to fit this within 30mins. There is an interview section to the forum, but ...

Re: IAPT London applications

Hi Jason, Yes its horrible isn't it. Ive worked in my area - Autism - for around 8 years so very much ready for a change, and this feels like the perfect fit too. I felt quite numb last night, but re-focused in ensuring my next application(s) are better. I think there is an intake early 2017, and th...

Pwp statement review

Hi, I have applied for the recent ucl intake for Pwp, but at this point looks like I've been unsuccessful. I have around 8 years experience supporting people with autism in groups and individually around life skills including anxiety and depression. I would have thought my experience was good, but I...

Re: IAPT London applications

I haven't heard anything - anyone know if there is somewhere on here to post to ask someone to look at my statement so I know where I went wrong to improve my chances next time. I'm at a bit of a loss as thought I had it covered and can't see it even though I keep looking.

There is a smaller January intake as well I think.

Re: IAPT London applications

Well it will be good to know one way or the other. The uncertainty of it all makes it difficult. They did always state that interviews would be next week, so perhaps the majority of interviews will be sent out over the next couple of days - I do hope so. If the admin has been on annual leave, it wou...

Re: IAPT London applications

Well I applied deadline day too, but would be surprised if this is how they do it as believe ucl does initial long list and then the boroughs indicate who to shortlist (I think).

Re: IAPT London applications

No, nothing here either. I'm inclined to think an interview is unlikely at this time really. When you called, did they offer any timeline? I'm assuming not or it would have been mentioned. I'm really surprised to not get an interview though if I am honest. Perhaps someone on here will be able to hav...

Re: IAPT London applications

Yes the uncertainty is hard. At least with firm dates you know where you are. I'm feeling that its unlikely that I have been successful due to not hearing anything. I can only think I have not completed the form to a high enough standard as genuinely felt I had a strong application - eight years wor...
