Whereabouts are you from?

It's very exciting but strange to think we now have 5 months to wait to start...

Applying to two courses with the same shortlisting test

Hi everyone,

Just wondered if anyone knows if you're applying to unis with the same shortlisting test (i.e. Exeter/Plymouth/Lancaster) whether we have to do the same test more than once? If not, how do we inform them that we're applying to the other courses?

thanks :D

Re: Research Scenario Tasks

Hi thanks I have tried that. There are a lot of research or stats tests, multiple choice type things. But I wondered if there are any practice scenario or vignettes anywhere (other than the few that are on the wiki on there - I must have practiced those about 100 times!)

Research Scenario Tasks

Hi all Just wondered if anyone has any tips for revising research methods for research scenario tasks at interview? I have seen the example tasks on here which are great, but as there are only a few i wondered if anyone had any other ideas? I really struggle with the research scenario tasks! Thanks :)

Re: Any current Bath trainees?

Hi everyone,

Just wondered if you could public post some of the answers as I have some of the same questions as i'm considering applying to bath this year. I don't want to ring and bother anyone prior to even getting an interview! Thanks :)

Ward based work

Hi all - just wondered if anyone had any advice of what to think about when working on a medical ward? e.g. with stroke? e.g. what are the challenges of working on a ward? I've thought of things like it being time limited so not much time for long assessments or long therapeutic intervention, also l...

Children's cleft palate service

Hi everyone

I've applied for a job as an AP within a children's cleft palate service. I don't know a great deal about the condition - could anyone offer any ideas about the role of an AP in this service/what to think about?

Thanks! :)

Hi I currently live in south Manchester and I'm applying for the Leeds course. Does anyone know about or do this commute to tell me if its manageable!? And general info about the course would be great i.e. number of teaching days, are there many placements between Manchester and Leeds etc. Like the ...

Re: Help on my answers for interview questions for AP in LD

Hi Good luck for your interview! I work as an AP for an LD team at the moment. My manager said that one of the main reasons why I got the job was because I was really passionate about why I want to work with people with LD - I had worked as a support worker before in LD and I talked about how the pe...
