Re: 2019 Doctorate Application Progress thread

Hey! Has anyone interviewing at Bangor next week heard about their panel members? In the original invite pack it said panel member information will follow but not heard anything yet. Not sure how long to leave it before sending a polite email asking! Thanks in advance :P I was just querying the sam...

Re: Bangor

I think I just put down "funded course" and N/A. They'll probably correct it if it isn't right.

Re: Bangor

Hi, I was offered an interview as well. What questions did you have about the fee status form? Mine was a bit complicated as I'm just qualifying as home/eu hopefully, but happy to help if I can.

Re: Visa related issue

I am in a very similar experience. I’ll be getting my indefinite leave to remain in August 2019. I debated if I should apply this year or wait another. I’ve decied to give it a try and I might get lucky. I’m not sure if they count when you apply, when you accept the offer, or when you start the cour...

Role-play/Assessment Anxiety

Hi everyone, I'm reading about the assessments for the low intensity pwp course.. As expected, there is a lot of Role-playing and some of the assessments are taped. I would imagine the practice role-playing would be with your peers, but are the assessments observed by everyone in the course? I have ...

Re: 61% in Bsc...

I would also focus on the AP post. AP posts are hard to get and a masters will always be an option in the future should you need it. I'm currently an AP without a masters and planning on applying to the doctorate next year. I have been thinking about the possibility of a part-time masters. If you th...

Re: Bath Academic Ability Score International Equivalence

I'm still not sure if I'm going to apply still. I really like the look of the programme, but still think I'm put at a disadvantage. I mean if they're looking at 400+ applications.. are they really going to be bothered to attach all the extra bits of information I have provided to my application? And...

Re: Bath Academic Ability Score International Equivalence

Hi Everyone, I have emailed the course administrator. Just thought I'd post here what was said in hopes it may help someone in the future. "If you have not completed A Levels, the admissions team look at the A level entry requirements for the undergraduate course you completed, and are scored as hav...

Bath Academic Ability Score International Equivalence

Hello, I'm currently looking at the academic scoring that Bath does for clinical applications. I noticed that Bath includes A Levels on their academic ability score, but I went to school in the US. I've read in a previous post from 2013 that said they didn't feel their qualifications from outside th...
