Re: Taxonomy of psychological variables

Thanks for your reply Miriam. The Constantinou paper is very interesting. I think if time was not a problem, doing the focus group would be ideal. The biggest problem so far has not been a lack of hits but rather a difficulty with operationally defining what falls within the remit of psychology and ...

Taxonomy of psychological variables

Hi there, I am hoping there might be someone out there who may be able to point me in the right direction please. I am doing (attempting to!) a systematic review at the moment. It's focused on the tools that psychologists use for psychological assessment with people with a severe to profound intelle...

Re: NICE guidelines & service based research in the NHS

Thanks Mark and Maven for your replies. It's hard to get a sense of what things look like on the ground from policy documents etc and so it's really interesting to hear about the flexibility in services.

NICE guidelines & service based research in the NHS

Hi all, Apologies if this sounds a bit of a naive question but it's one that's been floating around in my head for a few days now. I work in Ireland and have no experience of the NHS but am reading around how things work within it at the moment. One big difference that I can see between the Irish he...

Re: 2018 Doctorate Application Progress thread

Lancaster Glasgow Liverpool Sheffield Queens UCD (1st interview) ---> UCD (2nd interview) Galway Does anyone who applied for Trinity know when they plan on offering people places? Don't think the UCD reserve list will budge unless people get offers this week. Hi CMc, congrats on your interviews! Tr...

Re: Pre-interview tests UEL/Salomons

If you meet all the criteria for doing the screening test, but you've not been offered a test, then it might be worth contacting the course centre to see if it's an error. Nothing to lose. Hi Ell, Thanks. I followed your suggestion and sent them an email. I got a very nice email back from them. Unf...

Re: Pre-interview tests UEL/Salomons

I received my reply from both Surrey and Christchurch this morning, ten minutes apart from each other! Although I've been invited to Christchurch selection tests, I was not accepted for Surrey which is a shame :( bit confused about it since looking at the entry criteria they pretty much the same. C...

Hi Noodle,
I have access to this article! I tried to send it to you but I don't seem to be able to attach a pdf to messages. Perhaps send me a PM and we can figure out how to get it to you?
