Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2017 entry DClinPsy

I haven't heard a dicky bird from Salomons yet -I thought they'd let us know by end of play today. My status on Leeds clearing is still pending result. I'm not hopeful but would like to get the outcome behind me. Anyone heard anything?...

Re: UEL academic requirements and selection test trial

You're all so kind for replying - thank you. And apologies for being dense. Quite nice to have a test that doesn't count for anything. Pointless (for us) but nice!

Re: UEL academic requirements and selection test trial

Has everyone received their email to do do the selection test or is there anyone out there still waiting. I'm still waiting and getting a bit concerned.
Also, how do people know that the test is probably a trial for next year?
Thank youuuu

Re: Disappointed with application process

I totally understand people's frustration with this process particularly having read some of your achievements. I think it is important to remember that at the selection point, there is a total bottleneck and each year it gets worse. I have worked in two different trusts and the CPs I have met and w...

Diversity

So, I think it boils down to the individual, and how well they would fit into the cohort. We can't make sweeping judgements about any demographic or descriptive characteristic of applicants. But I do think 'fit' is a legitimate selection criteria, and might be something to take into consideration w...
