Re: iAPT trainee expenses
I do think that it would make sense to just claim for the two days travel and then spend it on accom instead if that works best. I'm not too sure how possible this would be as the travel (eg milage) is claimed in arrears and I'm think that the form I fill in to submit my claim has some wording abou...

Re: iAPT trainee expenses
Hello Sockmonkey Just following on with what the others have said.....how your situation is dealt with really depends on the policies of the organisation employing you. I know of PWP trainees who have been able to get accomodation booked for the 5 day block which they were reimbursed for, and they h...

Re: BABCP suspension of PWP accreditation process
I haven't heard of any requirements that PWPs become accredited ..... & I think that a certain amount of experience post qualification was needed before you could apply as well so I dont think it will impact trainees......

Re: Voluntary IAPT
My question is whether IAPT accept part time voluntary workers and if anyone has gone about this successfully? This depends.........sometimes 'honary' workers are accepted (I have heard of them, but not seen them with my own eyes....................... ), it seems that it has generally be...

Re: How much should you tell your boss?
I'd just like to check - by 'boss' do you mean line manager, or clinical supervisor????
For me, This all depends on how much it is or isn't impacting on my work, and also my relationships with my manager/clin supervisor

Re: OMG I'm getting old!
If Back to the Future were made today, Marty mcfly would travel back to 1982. Noooooooooo! That cant be right! Oh, it is! Actually can you imagine sending a 16 year old today back to 1982 - they'd be so lost! 3 TV channels (Channel 4 began late in 1982), no mobile phones, no internet, no computers ...

Re: CBT psychotherapy training
In short no. The course I was on had already started the accreditation process (for level 2) before I started the course, and it was completed after I had finished which made my application for accreditation easier in terms of the form filling in (the BABCP website has the provisional accreditation ...

Re: Triage?
The focus on differneces between them has me puzzled, triage can be used to help with delivery of stepped care - eg referrals are triaged in some way to identify what step is required.....017746 wrote:I'm focussing on the differences between stepped care and triage
