Like an arbitrarily placed slab of skyscrapers. 4. Wish I had something nicer and less stressful to work on at, er, work 5. Surprised...

Forum Maintenance - 12 noon, Wednesday, May 8th, 2013

The forum is in dire need of an upgrade, to patch up any security problems and keep the place ticking over nicely. At 2PM the forum will go down for a short period of time (about half an hour, and an hour at the most) so that I can do this work without anything going wrong. You won't be able to post...

1. After a moderately relaxed week off I couldn't feel more fed up, for some reason 2. Felt like I didn't know what I was doing today and that I'd faked my way in to the job 3. Re: Bars and Restaurants in London

I don't know London very well since I've not been there long, but you'll have little problem finding somewhere centrally, around Soho, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, etc.

Clubbing wise there's Shoreditch but I've only ever been to Fabric (which I wouldn't recommend), and don't know anywhere else.

Re: Bars and Restaurants in London

What sort of restaurant are you after?

Bar/pub-wise there's a nice road full of them in Islington. It's pretty good round there, having been a few times.

Re: Forwarding emails

I'm afraid I'm not much help either, as I don't use Outlook and have no idea about NHS email, but I would consider asking the IT people for help, if they're willing to give it.

I moved to London last year and I basically knew no one and felt totally alone for the first few ...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

1. Spent the day with the BBC working on how to improve parts of their service, and the amazing insight into all the things they do (part of their accessibility research accommodates mental, not just physical, disability) makes me realise how clueless the media and politicians are when they berate i...

I've wrote more essays, and done more investigations tha...
