IAPT Evidence-Based CBT Formulations

Hi

I know that IAPT high intensity workers do cbt formulations (case conceptualisation) for dep, anxiety, social phobia...etc. But I have heard that they only use certain CBT formulations approved by IAPT.

Does anyone know any websites or books that give further information on which formulation ?

I'm starting on the doctorate as well. I've looked into paid placements as well for first year. What i find is that there might be a conflict of roles, you might be employed as an 'assisstant psy' or 'pwp' but an agreement has to be made if they willing to let you work therpeutically as a trainee co...

Hi I'm going to start a doctorate in counselling psychology and would like a placement (paid or unpaid) within the forensic or prison sector. The tutors on the course will help me find a placement but i just wanted to make a a head start myself. Does anyone know of any organisations that offer place...

You don't necessary have to do the course full time, i think some universities offer part-time option and its good to look at what models/approaches certain courses specialize in.

Hi I've just been accepted to do the a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. Not only is it the course fees you have to consider but also personal therapy and supervision that is required as part of the training.
