Re: Cognitive Analytic Therapy & young people
Hey Randle I haven't either, but I suspect you could be correct. I went on the two day training and they didn't rule out its usefulness with young people (like in a more flexible manner), however the trainer did suggest that in it's more pure form it might not be totally applicable due to 'personali...

Re: Therapists who practise outside their training/competenc
This is an interesting discussion, I am wondering though (not on either side): as a trainee I receive no training which is specifically accredited by the modality's professional body. E.g. I have no Babcp training in CBT, no psychodynamic training accredited by a relevant body, no.... You see my poi...

Re: Coventry & Warwick 2014
Hi anonred I'm a current trainee. I live in Rugby (right on the m1 for leics) which is quite nice but is obviously a little bit closer to Cov than Leicester, however tbf you may have to travel as far as Herefordshire so it might be a good option. Also just a general note, few of the actual placement...

Re: Scottish independence
I think technically Scotland wouldn't be ejected from the EU as it has never been part of it as sovereign state in its own right, rather it just won't be in it. It would need to apply for membership, which is a fairly lengthy process. With regard to the England issue, England will not be a new count...

Re: Discussion about comment someone construed as sexist
Ha true. Given the five minute review I did you could well be correct with that. I only read a couple of abstracts but that did seem to be the just, as stated in my previous post, that females are better thermoregulators. I had assumed that despite this biological advantage, the more frequent consci...
