Hey,
Research projects are often dependant on the research interests of the people in the department, so it may be worth waiting to see which possible supervisors are available. Good luck with your MSc

Re: Reference question
I didn't use my current employer as a reference as I hadn't been in my current job long and also thought my previous supervisor would be able to write a more relevant reference. I didn't have a problem, so I wouldn't worry. They might ask for a ref from your current employer following an offer, but ...

Re: References in an application - when do they check?
I wouldn't worry about ticking that box. I've always ticked it, mainly because I didn't want my references to get fed up of being asked for references all the time unnecessarily. I don't think it's ever had an influence on whether or not i've been offered an interview. Good luck with the job hunt. I...

Re: Post without clinical supervision from a psych...advice
Hi Randall, I work in research at the moment and don't get any supervision from a clinical psychologist. I think in research, from my experience anyway, that supervision from a CP isn't always as necessary as when you are completing directly clinical work. Although I'm sure this may vary and some pe...

Hey, congratulations
Maybe we could sort something about a week before we start? I'd imagine most people who are relocating will have done it by then?
