Re: Any current Sheffield trainees?
Hello, I'm a current Sheffield trainee. I moved from South Manchester, but sympathise with you Lilypad - moving away was hard! None of the first years had placements over towards Manchester and I haven't heard of any of the other years getting placements in that direction. But the course are quite g...

I don't think anyone has started a facebook group yet as far as I'm aware. So yes please Frankiecat if you don't mind doing the honours!
Cheers!

Re: Sheffield 2015
Yeah I've not recieved anything either. I expect they'll have waited until they have a batch before they sent them off. Can't wait to get more info though! Looking forward to meeting you all and starting the course! It might be worth setting up a facebook group. I will be spending my weekends in She...

Re: Sheffield 2015
Hi,
I'll be starting at Sheffield in September. I'll be moving to the area from Cheshire. Any hints on places to live/avoid would be much appreciated!
Have you guys had your DBS back yet?

Re: Personal and professional development days 2014
Hi all. I've only just seen this and would really like to attend the day in February. I am not applying this year, but hoping to next year. Are there any places still left in February?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Work Experience Abroad
Hello, I've done quite a lot of work abroad because I love people and I find them fascinating. I've volunteered in several services and worked with several companies all with different approaches and budgets! Some ideas include: Volunteers for Mental Health - working in Romania with people with ment...

Low Intensity Groups
Hello everyone, I'm currently a PWP trainee in a relatively new service. The service is looking to branch out into groups and we are having a team meeting soon to discuss ideas. Although I'm a trainee and I think it probably best to learn to walk before I run, I am keen to contribute to the meeting ...

Pros and cons of PWP wiki?
Hi,
I was wondering if it might be useful to add a section on the pros and cons of PWP jobs? I've just started one and am panicking about how much this will add to my application for clinical. So I would certainly appreciate it anyway!
Cheers!

Vivamus Graduate Workshops
Hi,
I was thinking about attending one of the Systemic Thinking workshops for graduates run by Vivamus in London. They do CBT ones as well. I was wondering if anyone has been on either, and if they are useful? Its quite a lot of money so I would like to know if people think its worth it?
Thanks!
