*sigh* I was at least hoping for an interview at Soton as I felt I met all the criteria and wrote my statement for them in particular... Ah well. Next year maybe.

Re: IAPT Course

I haven't done the IAPT course, but I am an Assistant PWP in an IAPT service.

My understanding, certainly in the southern and northern parts of England, are that qualified PWPs are in high demand, both as agency staff and as permanent positions.

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2015

Second time applying...

Surrey
Southampton
Bath
Royal Holloway

It still says "Application Released To Course Centre" even though they emailed me a week ago to say I hadn't got through, so I think they may not update it until they've sent out all their emails?

Re: Applying for 2015

Submitted my application to stop me fiddling with it any more. I've been pretty much writing it for two months, so now I just have to sit here and worry until April... :D

I also really struggled to get my jobs into 200 characters, and resorted to lists of , and & symbols.

Re: Applying for 2015

I applied in 2011 as a practise; send it in just to see how it worked, how long uni's took to get back with decisions, and how these forums influenced things (i.e. what others said, who got on with what etc) Now I've waited a couple of years, I'm going to apply again as I've had 3 more experience po...

Re: Applying for 2015

It appears - and correct me if I am wrong - that they changed the criteria on the 29th Sept. Given that the application opened on 1st Sept this seems horribly unfair, no?! What happens if you apply before 29th with 64%? Or indeed today, but only noticed the change today, as last checked the UEL sit...

Re: PWP London Application Status

Despite checking every week on the NHS site for the london trainee position, I only saw it the night it closed! I submitted my application at 11:30pm and really wish I could have actually read my statement through.. oh well.

Fingers crossed for all of us :)

Re: Progress thread for Clinical Psychology applications 201

Re: Progress thread for Clinical Psychology applications 201

What does pending result mean? I have this for Edinburgh but was rejected by the others... Mine says exactly the same MissKristyC, I am not relying on what that says though because my status for Glasgow hasn't changed and yet I am on the reserve for an interview. I am not sure its an accurate refle...
