Hi. I agree, I relaly think Iapt is a great pre clinical training experience, however you should aim to commit to it for at least 1 year post training year I think. Hi all, I'm going to be state hospital forensic aligned and based in Lothian for first 2 years mainly.

I know we do too enid! Its the uni's decision I think, not really sure. Services are annoyed about it as we feel we get a better range of candidates with more clinical exp comming through NHS jobs. However we had some great candidates last year through this process, a mix in terms of age, past exp. ...

just to highlight I know our service loves volunteers! I work for Camden and Islington iCope service. you could look us up online and contact if you are interested in arranging a short voluntary placement (even a few weeks). This may help you decide if IAPT is for you and also help with applications...

Its really annoying that they don't just send you all the tests at once, I keep frantically checking my email!

The Edinburgh test hasn't been sent out yet, its just mentioned in the extra questions task...not sure if that's what youre referring to.
