Re: Educational Psychology

Does anybody have any idea of when the Tavistock interviews will be? I still haven't received the letter and I'm starting to panic that the interview might be only a few weeks away!! Last year the Tavi was the last to carry out interviews and they took place in the last week of March: because it's ...

Re: Educational Psychology

Congrats Scisci! You're right, the page for the doctorate has disappeared! The Tavi might just be updating the page, there's been a lot of work done on their website recently. I might give the IT people a nudge... Tavi applicants might find this helpful if they haven't already seen it: http://www.ta...

Re: Educational Psychology

Oops, wish I'd read that before applying! Ah well. Does anyone know when you hear if you've got an interview? I've found dates for when places are offered, but not when you know whether you have an interview or not, or when interviews tend to be? Hi Charlie007 - just had a look at the application t...

Re: Educational Psychology

Is there anyone else who was thinking of applying to Cardiff? I've just looked at their website and it says they will not be receiving any further applications? Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks! I was also considering applying for Cardiff but not sure why are they not receiving any furthe...

Re: Draft SEN Code of Practice

Hi everyone, I am a level 3 TA in a primary school, have been for 3 years now and we have recently had training on the new SEN code of practice that appears to be coming and some of the changes it involves! Just wondered if others had looked at it too and had any thoughts? It certainly seems very r...

Re: Educational Psychology

Hello! It's been so long since I have been on here! I just popped on as I was sharing this forum with another EP hopeful. I saw the message from EP2be and I wanted to let you know that I am in Year two of the same course as butterbean (hello butterbean!) and I have neither a masters nor a 1st. It's...

Re: Educational Psychology

The reality, though, is that competition for places is so ludicrously high that to be shortlisted and to get to the interview stage every applicant is going to have to have something outstanding about their application in order to be seen. Everyone in my cohort this year has a 1st in psych and many...

st3vie wrote:I'd like to start and work on my application statement.. what is the format? Is it in sections? or one whole statement? Thanks.
Hey St3vie- this year we were asked to compile a personal statement and also smaller sections relating to work experience. But this may change- assume nothing! lol.
