Re: Assistant Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner - thought

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and advice. I have exactly the same feelings as most of you for both sides of the coin - I do feel a bit cynical about it, but I also appreciate the role would be great experience and would help me get my foot in the door/make me more likely to get a potential train...

Assistant Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner - thoughts?

Hi everyone, I have been invited to an interview for an Assistant PWP position. As far as I can tell, the role doesn't differ from the responsibilities of a Trainee PWP in terms of the therapeutic work that you do (psycho educational groups, telephone support etc) but you don't do the 1 day a week a...

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2016

The thought of the interview fills me with such abject horror because I'm so terrified of them! It will be a big hurdle but I'm just trying to think of it as great experience regardless of the outcome.

I could be wrong but I can still withdraw my application from the place I got an interview for (Exeter) and I can't on the place I didn't (Bath) so that's what I'm assuming it means. Sorry :(

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2016

Have watched this thread each year nervously, finally stepping in myself! First year applying. Bath Exeter Cardiff Warwick I think Warwick will be a no as I can no longer withdraw my application on the online form but I haven't heard either way yet. Good luck everyone! Well done on the greens and do...

Which job?

Hi everyone, I have been offered 2 different jobs that are potentially really good experience and I'm having some trouble deciding so thought I'd ask the experts! As a bit of background, I've recently finished a clinical psychology MSc, have paid experience of LD community support and inpatient neur...

Interview Response Waiting Time

Hi everyone, I apologise if a similar post has been made on the forum. I had an AP interview at the start of the month (the 6th) and was told I would be waiting 'quite a while' for a response, as they were doing staggered interviews with several applicants. It has now been over 2 weeks since I was i...

Re: NHS Supporting Information Section Question

Thank you!

I am having real trouble being concise about my experience. Would anyone be willing to take a look at my statement and give feedback?

Thanks in advance :)

NHS Supporting Information Section Question

Hi everyone - apologies for yet another post about AP/other job applications but I am in the process of redrafting my application and wanted some advice. Previously, my Supporting Information was quite long and in chronological order, listing my experience and the skills I'd gained and what I'd lear...
