Re: Assistant Groups

Hi tom and georgie

There is an informal Ap group based in harrow which Is on fb/WhatsApp so if you send me a pm I can add you to it.

That said I think it's going to wind down post interviews for a bit!

Re: Which courses are yet to receive offers (2017)?

Left to interview seemingly are Liverpool, IOP and Royal Holloway.

Edinburgh and Glasgow don't seem to have released there results from what I've heard but beyond that I am out of the loop!

Re: Applying with the Double Tick system

Hello I've applie under the two tick scheme for the last couple of years. The weird thing is that you never know if you get an interview because you are good enough or because you have ticked the box and I think that is something that in a way has potentially dented my confidence however once at int...

Re: BPS Guidelines for the Employment of Assistant Psycholog

They were rewritten as I had a copy of one that was written recently it talked about the distinction between band 4 and 5 and if I recall had a section on honorary aps to.

I don't know where my copy went or how I got them which is so unhelpful but they don't seem to have ever been published!

Re: What to do next...

When I applied for my most recent job by the time I'd found it and applied and then been interviewed and informed I had got the job it was about a month in total. It then took three months for me to start the job by the time I had gone through Occupational health, DBS, references and so on. So if yo...

Re: Is it worth the crippling debt to do an online Msc?

I did an Msc at the open university which I thought they had stopped? Whilst doing it I was very unwell so this had a big impact on my grades. That said as a result I stopped work and really can't see how I would have managed both. As queen procrastinator I found doing it online tricky as I didn't h...
