Re: Publications/Disseminations Section of Application

Hi

I have no research publications but have read on here about wider publications etc?

I do a lot of training and have to put together courses on a range of topics so in a sense disseminating information but I really feel I'm grasping at straws here is it better to leave it blank?

Re: How do you dress for work?

That bag sounds awesome!

I tend to wear dresses with tights or leggings and a cardigan.

Or I wear jeans generally colourful ones and a top!

Re: Podcast, application review & personal development servi

I don't know what I'm thinking about this as it's a per month subscription it seems fairly pricey and whilst it's something I would consider I'm not sure I could afford it nor do I know if some of it would interest me. I think the one I'd be interested in would be between the £8.50 and £30 one and t...

Re: Applying when you have a history of mental health issues

I have a long history of mental health problems and currently work using my experience of mental health in a variety of roles. I therefore have no choice but to talk about my past. It does worry me as I'm not sure I would have been so open otherwise but all the psychologists I've come across have ge...

Re: Applying for 2015

One thing I've read on the forum is that whilst your job hasn't changed you have had another years worth of experience and so what might be a good form for someone whose got one years experience it becomes a not so good form for someone with two years of experience. I guess if absolutely nothing has...

Re: The speakmans

I saw it and thought if only real life therapy could have such a quick impact!!!! I didn't really get what they did to treat her other than to show her a box of photos and tell her she was a fraud for not having a panic attack! Very bizarre That was my thoughts on the first one I haven't seen the o...

Re: Forced therapy or be punished?! Ethical?!

I don't know what to think about this as I highly doubt it will be implemented correctly. As someone who has been on ESA fairly recently for mental health and has also run numerous courses on ESA for people with mental health I feel I'm fairly well informed about it in my area of the country anyway!...

The speakmans

Hello

So I've heard about this TV show which starts tomorrow afternoon.

It seems fairly controversial:- http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio ... rry-katona

Anyway I thought it would be interesting to see what they offer and how ethical it all is.

Re: Applying for 2015

Do universities do open days for the course - I'm assuming not as I can't see anything hugely visible but?

Re: UEL trial online task for 2014 applicants. Feedback?

Hi

I didn't apply to UEL but I know someone who did who got basic generic feedback on the test. I don't know if this is what you are talking about but it gave the scores she achieved. She had an interview and I know that this was emailed prior to the interview.
