Re: Is it worth the crippling debt to do an online Msc?

I did an Msc at the open university which I thought they had stopped? Whilst doing it I was very unwell so this had a big impact on my grades. That said as a result I stopped work and really can't see how I would have managed both. As queen procrastinator I found doing it online tricky as I didn't h...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

Posted to soon! 3 continued words like "no" and "I want" should be banned from toddlers vocabulary! 4. The weekend was much needed and it was lovely catching up with my friends and not doing much beyond chatting and watching Beauty and the Beast! 5. Friday I had a lovely bonding supervision with my ...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

1. Last week was an emotional rollercoaster. After my initial no's I couldn't believe I would get any yeses so started wondering what to do with my life and if Clinical Psychology was for me, planning holidays and so on I ultimately ended up with an interview! 2. I have to say the thought of preppin...

Re: MSc or try for an AP position?

I would say do what is right for you and what interests you the most.

That said if you have good academics at undergraduate level you may be better of getting experience as out of my colleagues the AP who got the most interviews was the one who had lots of experience and no masters!

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2017 entry DClinPsy

So exciting! I am getting very impatient having not heard anything from my unis yet. My understanding from past years is that RHUL interview last out of the London unis and so there reserve list for interviews moves quite a bit generally! So excited for the greens fingers crossed for the oranges and...

Re: Can I enter a DClinPsy course if I have been sectioned?

Hello Whilst I have never been sectioned I have had several admissions to hospital with the most recent being far more recent than yours. I have been working in mental health since then and have encountered lots of clinical psychologists who know about my past who have said it will be an asset (none...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

1 - I am really tired 2 - I am feeling a bit defeated by Lancaster test prep! I have done the verbal reasoning but I am scoring sooooo low on the numerical reasoning and whilst I understand the concepts I am only able to get through a few questions in the time period allowed. I know that I have extr...
