12-Month-Long Masters Hindering Application?

Hey all! I was lurking in the depths of the forum (I read nearly all threads on this sub-forum and reached 12th page on application one  ) and I stumbled upon some things about incomplete masters and PhDs and how this can prevent you getting an offer. Then I read this on the clearing house:...

Re: Lancaster GMA tests 2016

I'd really like to know if all the courses make taking a GMA test mandatory. Anyone here to have info and answer? No, only some. If you have a look on the Clearing House website, it lists all the courses and each course describes its selection procedure so you can tell which use tests and which don...

Re: Lancaster GMA tests 2016

Hi there,
This seems to be about the test at Lancaster but I'd really like to know if all the courses make taking a GMA test mandatory. Anyone here to have info and answer?
Thanks!

Re: Is autism undiagnosed in girls?

Has anyone studied this in a multicultural context I wonder? Girls being withdrawn and organized are reinforced in some cultures (well, actually in all cultures, let's say it is reinforced more) and that can be a reason for undiagnosis.

Re: Surrey dclinpsy interview -how personal?

IMHO this is one of those times where "be yourself" is probably the best advice. Go ahead and talk about your perspective on this. You are reflecting on your life experiences, if the interviewers don't like this ...do you want them to be your managers, supervisors, tutors etc? Your course will have...

Re: Durations of Placements: Do They All Last for a Whole Ye

Thank you so much for the valuable info, I also would like to correct a misunderstanding. When I said a whole year placement, I actually meant a whole year without a full month leave  . I am aware UCL's placements are designed to be for every 6 months. I really can't thank you enough for your ...

Durations of Placements: Do They All Last for a Whole Year?

Hello everyone. I'm aware my subject is fairly similar to this http://www.clinpsy.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18954 topic but I will ask an entirely different question. I am an international student so I'm not familiar with how long the placements take. I know for a fact that UCL placements und...

Re: Hello: Introduce yourself here!

Hello there. I am an international scholarship student who will start an MSc course this September. I am also planning to apply DClinPsy courses which are self-funded. My scholarship lets me undertake a doctoral degree but I then have to go back to my country and work for the state for a set period ...
