Re: Reserve List Updates Thread

Lancaster update from yesterday: Two places have moved since results were first announced (so if you came in as 3rd reserve, you're 1st reserve now), around 7/8 places still to accept.

Fingers crossed a couple more of us make it! :D

Which courses are yet to receive offers (2017)?

I'm just wondering which/how many courses are still to receive formal offers? As I'm on a reserve list this year, it'd help to know what the chances are of getting some movement. Good luck to all! :D

Re: Reserve List Updates Thread

Somehow, I made the reserve list for Lancaster! I've done so much better than I anticipated for my first year, but I'm still naively hoping for some movement. Anyone else in a similar position? :) I have also made it on to the Lancaster reserve list! I'm quite far down though (9th) so not holding o...

Re: How old is too old for training?

Hi Heslop, There is no 'maximum age' at which you can apply! From what I've read on here, it usually takes multiple years (at multiple uni's) to get an acceptance, and you'll only become a more attractive candidate as you gain more experience in the field. That said, if you're looking for statistics...

Lancaster!! So happy and a little in shock I think! This was my first time applying and I wasn't sure what to expect so I am amazed to have gotten this far. I really felt that I clicked with the Lancaster ethos. Everyone was so welcoming and warm on the day and really made the process much more bea...

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2017 entry DClinPsy

Proud and amazed to announce that I'm 1/1 for my interviews: Lancaster I'm doing my MSc straight from my undergrad and don't really have much clinical experience, so I think the shortlisting test really worked in my favour! First time applying and I'm a little bit nervous for the interview day - can...
