Re: What you're thinking v what you say

So for example after one set it might be "I saw the car driving towards me" and the next one is "it crashed into me" (not real examples). It just struck me as unusual th...

Oh Lingua, I hope she's ok. Must've been a real shock. I'm glad your dad is able to find some humour in it though!

Re: Need help gathering dissertation material.

Hi I'm not sure there's an easy and ethical way to get this information. The only possible thing I could think of is if there are any documentaries on people who have been a victim of a miscarriage of justice. There are a fair few high profile cases, but whether or not there'd be footage of their Po...

EMDR

Hi,

For those trained in EMDR - have you experienced clients recalling an incident in a very clear consecutive order during phase 3? As in, the way that they would recall it if they were just been asked to retell it without bilateral stimulation?

Thanks

Re: Application “honesty”

I agree with Geishawife here. I can see that this is definitely something that would be frustrating, but agree that there's probably little you can practically do. If someone has a form that doesn't reflect what they really know, this will undoubtedly trip them up at interview and they will hopefull...

Re: Reporting concerns

Who funds the service? Are they commissioned by (for example) a local council who may be interested in their actions?

5) Lease car. The impulsive child in me wants to order it NOW, the responsible adult knows it's a better idea to wait until the end of the summer when my terrible old car's MOT expires and I've gone up a payband. Delayed gratification is not my forte.
Order the car!

Re: Make it interesting...

Thank you Lingua, I think that's the way to go. I probably need to include some data, but the more I can weave in the voice of the service user, the better. Maybe I'll do a one page summary of the data rather than a laborious Powerpoint.
