The registration process has three stages. First, you agree the terms and conditions given below, and fill out your registration form. Then you need to validate the email address you used by clicking on the email we send out. The volunteers who run the site will then manually check the registrations about once a week, activating those that are not associated with spam or banned users. Note: If you originate in a country that is associated with spammers, such as China, Russia, Belarus or Indonesia your application will be refused unless you have previously contacted us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org - this is the email address to contact us, and will be checked by our volunteers about once a week. Please be patient and allow two weeks for your registration to be activated (it may take longer over holiday periods or if your registration is from outside the UK). We do not respond to queries on facebook or twitter about forum registrations.
We would like to encourage constructive debate, and feel that everybody can benefit from their ideas being challenged, if this is done in a respectful way. We are also open to feedback about the forum and website. However, attacking the individual, or posts that "name and shame" an individual or organisation, or those which are in any other way potentially defamatory will not be tolerated. Posts may be deleted if they are considered to be rude, aggressive, attacking of an individual, or in the views of the moderators otherwise cause http://www.ClinPsy.org.uk or the profession to be viewed in a negative light.
While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws or be considered offensive to other members. Doing so may lead to the post in question being deleted without warning and/or you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.
As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database.
