I heard on the grapevine these guidelines were being updated, so maybe that's why...

I've updated the link. What I can't tell is whether you have to be signed in to the BPS website and therefore a DCP member to access it.

I have a BPS student membership, but it still says that access is denied, so I think I may need a higher level membership. Thank you anyway, I have found all of the wiki forums extremely helpful

I have a student membership, and I can access it. I am also a student member of the DCP, so maybe that's what is needed? I could send it to you if you want to read it, just PM me your e-mail address? (:

Shall I ask the BPS if we are allowed to paste it into here? We do some promotion for them, so it doesn't seem an impossible request.

Yes, I think that's a great idea, miriam. I mean most people here would have a pretty good reason to want to see the document, and it'd be beneficial for the BPS, as you say!

Hopefully this will work, but a non-officialised version of the guidelines is on the archive of the Unite website on this link:

Here

and to the best of my knowledge (from the last time I checked it) is the same as the ones on the DCP site (Admin and other mods - feel free to remove if you think this is a bit wobbly?)

also, whomever asked whether the guidelines are due for an upgrade, they are indeed and hopefully will be out very soon!

EDIT: add )1.doc onto the end of that link, as the name seems to break the hyperlink

Thanks for that, Gilly!

Here's the fixed link - [url=http://archive.unitetheunion.org/docs/G ... inal)1.doc]it should work now (click)[/url]

Edit: Ugh. I always wonder why BBCode is off in the wiki parts of the forums! But yeah you can copy the above, it should work.

I fixed Gilly's link. The BPS see the document as a "member benefit" and won't release it to us, so it seems we will advertise unite rather than the BPS on this wiki!
