Calling adults with acne to particpate in this research

Post by SusieClark » Thu Nov 26, 2015 2:49 pm

Hi, I'm conducting a research project exploring the emotional experiences of adults living with acne for my Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.

I'm looking for people to participate who:
• currently have acne;
• are receiving treatment for Acne Vulgaris from their GP or Dermatologist;
• are aged 18 years old or over.

Would you be willing to take part? Participation will involve answering a series of questionnaires online which should take about 20 minutes. By taking part, you can also choose to be entered into a prize draw where you could win up to £50 worth of Amazon vouchers. Please go to this link to be directed to more information about the study and to access the questionnaires: http://tinyurl.com/acne-study

If you don't meet the criteria to participate but know of other people that might, I'd really appreciate it if you'd support the study by sharing it's facebook page http://www.facebook.com/acneresearch2015 (widely, rather than to specific people) and/or retweeting the link http://tinyurl.com/acne-study or following @AcneStudy2015

Thank you in anticipation and best wishes,

Susie

You need to follow the requirements in the thread pinned to the top of this section or this post will be removed. To recruit on this website you need to state your ethical approval (and that this includes consent to recruit online) your university and supervisor in the OP.

Apologies - I didn't realise I had to provide the additional info. Here it is:

- I've been granted ethical approval for this online study by the University of East London
- the study is being supervised by Dr Ken Gannon at UEL (k.n.gannon@uel.ac.uk)

Many thanks, Susie.
