a lighter note
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow0lr63y4Mw
The above is a link to a video a friend of mine passed on to me
any one who has worked in an iapt service may recognise how you can sometimes feel
the pressure of need to perform quick fix short term therapy makes you feel you are coming accross to clients!

We were actually shown this clip in our IAPT training

Re: a lighter note
I've never worked in IAPT, but I do work in a prison and I related to this a lot. Especially with those clients who have short sentences, which means I can only see them for around 3 sessions. I loved this clip - thanks for sharing

There may not always be a solution to the problem, but there is always another perspective...

I love that it is shown in your IAPT training Psychological
I think that is a brilliant idea !
and have heard similar about the prison service moonbeam
that must be a tough job.
if anyone else has any clips or stories to share that remind us of the funny side of working in this field that would be great, most of have a challenging job at times so think it can really help to be reminded of the lighter side to remind us of how great it actually is and what a real privilege it is too
