Imposter syndrome... advice please

Post by MindfulPsych » Mon Jun 18, 2018 8:06 pm

Hi everyone,

I've recently started a new job and although it's very exciting I can feel imposter syndrome setting in the more and more I move away from my comfort zone. I have read lots of topics on the forum around this but I was wondering what have people done or found helpful in managing imposter syndrome?

Thank you :)

I'd suggest being open with your supervisor about it. Then they can help you address your anxiety, or slow the pace at which they are expecting you to pick up new responsibilities.
