ClinPsy meet?

Post by miriam » Wed Jul 29, 2015 7:32 pm

I'm wondering if anyone would like to have a forum meet? The kids are away on Saturday 22nd August and I thought it might be a good time to be sociable. Perhaps we can have a barbecue or something? I'm based near Milton Keynes. Let me know if you are interested.

That sounds great Miriam- am sure I could get a lovely friend (or OH!) to have my kids so can be free! BBQ would be grand!

I'd love to, but would have to bring my little one? Not sure how much of deal breaker that is?

You take your shopping very seriously Gilly!

Sorry Sastra, we are deliberately not making this one a family event. As I said, my kids will be away at my parents. We are having a barbecue and some beers in the rare event of their absence.

Alas! The Cone is unable to attend due to prior commitments that weekend so please accept its apologies.

Have a great time!

As disappointed as I am by your absence, I like that the cone declines invitations in the third person!

I've sent a PM with info. Can we tempt anyone else out to meet us in the real world?

22nd August is a Monday. Do you mean Saturday 20th? If so I'd probably be able to come. I'm in London around that time and Milton Keynes isn't so very far on the train.

I remember seeing it the other year now! Somehow it showed itself as an unread thread on this laptop!

You should do another meet-up in Derbyshire. Definitely nicer environment than Milton Keynes - it has beautiful mountains, whereas all I remember from my trips to MK are roundabouts.
